Plant Care

Watering:
The Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen' (Pothos) prefers to have consistently moist soil, but be sure not to overwater. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again, and be sure to avoid standing water in the pot, as this can lead to root rot. In general, it's better to underwater than overwater this plant. We recommend measuring the moisture of the soil with a moisture meter.

Light:
The Marble Queen prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. If the leaves start to yellow or brown, it may be a sign that the plant is getting too much or too little light.

Fertilizing:
Feed your Marble Queen with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer or liquid fertilizer, every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). During the dormant season (fall and winter), fertilize every four to six weeks. Be sure not to over-fertilize, as this can burn the roots.

Repotting:
It's a good idea to repot your Marble Queen every year or two, or whenever you notice that the plant has outgrown its pot. Use a well-draining potting mix and a pot with drainage holes. When repotting, gently loosen the roots and remove any dead or rotting ones before placing the plant in its new pot. Water thoroughly after repotting and allow the soil to dry out slightly before watering again.
