Plant Care

Watering:
Peace lilies prefer to be kept evenly moist, but not sitting in standing water. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so make sure the pot has good drainage. Peace lilies are sensitive to fluoride and chlorine in tap water, so it's best to use distilled or filtered water if possible. We recommend measuring the moisture of the soil with a moisture meter.

Light:
Peace lilies prefer bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. If the leaves start to turn yellow, it may be an indication of too much light.

Fertilizing:
Peace lilies are not heavy feeders and can thrive without fertilizer. However, if you choose to fertilize, use a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) at half the recommended strength.

Repotting:
Peace lilies prefer to be slightly pot-bound, so they only need to be repotted every 1-2 years. Repot in a pot only one size larger than the current pot, using a well-draining potting mix. It's best to repot in the spring before new growth begins.
